John grew up in northern Wisconsin with a deep love for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He joined the military after graduating high school and served 4 years in 2nd Ranger Battalion which included 4 deployments to Afghanistan. After the service, John graduated from technical college with degree's in electro-mechanical technology and wind energy technology. Since then he has worked as a wind turbine technician and most recently, the lead service technician for a chemical company.
